On May 21st of 2022, at Broward Sheriffs Office Violent Crimes Unit detectives have shared surveillance footage to uncover details surrounding a man found injured by a roadside incident that occurred at 3 p.m last Wednesday in Pompano Beach along North Dixie Highways 3000 block as reported by BSO deputies following a potential hit and run case. When the deputies got to the scene of the incident they found a man who appeared to be an adult lying on the side of the road. The Pompano Beach Fire Rescue team. Took the man to Broward Health North for treatment of his injuries. After looking into it it was determined that the 69 year old gentleman was riding his bicycle heading north on Dixie Highway. At one stage during his ride he was discovered unresponsive. Hurt on the road, with his bicycle beside him. Authorities suspect that someone riding a scooter in the south direction around that time might have witnessed the event in question.
