On August 21 2025 the Broward Sheriffs Office put out a call for help, from the public to find a man. Anthony Vargas Perez, who is 28 years old was last seen in Oakland Park. Detectives say he was spotted near the 5700 block of North Dixie Highway around 10;45 in the morning on August 15. Vargas Perez is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs around 130 pounds. He has hair and brown eyes and something that might help identify him is that he wears dental braces.Vargas Perez is dealing with health issues and struggling with substance abuse according to those close to him.
