The Broward Sheriff’s Office Cold Case Homicide Unit finally claims to have cracked the case wide open now! Thanks to the improvements in DNA testing techniques and fresh details provided by witnesses alongside police investigation efforts led by BSO Detective Andrew Gianino and his dedicated team from BSO’s Crime Lab. It was revealed that two individuals named Robert Clark Keebler and Lawrence Stein were responsible for the girls untimely demise on a summer day back, in 1975 right after they finished their eighth grade studies. During the day of the events when the girls went missing after getting into a van with two men in Hollywood and disappeared without a trace.The day their remains were found at the outskirts of the Everglades by investigators.DNA analysis confirmed Keebler and Steins presence through samples collected from the girls clothes.Despite both men being deceased and unable to face trial, for their actions Detective Gianino mentioned that the case has been officially marked as resolved with clearance status. “The Broward State Attorneys Office received the case for prosecution under the assumption that the defendants were still alive even though they had passed away years ago ” Detective Gianino clarified about the situation at hand.”Despite their demise ago. Sheriff Dr Gregory Tony from Broward has placed a priority on delving into such cases with great dedication and interest in his heart! “Big props to the folks at the BSO Cold Case Homicide and Crime Lab teams who’ve gone above and, beyond to ensure that Barbaras and Darlenes tragic deaths don’t simply fade away into obscurity but receive the justice they deserve ” remarked Sheriff Dr Tony warmly. Unfortunately these two individuals won’t face trial in a setting but this result should offer some comfort to the community knowing that BSO is dedicated to seeking justice regardless of the time it takes. Kimberly Schreiber, Barbaras sister expresses gratitude for everyone involved in unraveling the mystery, behind her sisters and her sisters friends murder.
