Victim In Hospital, PBSO Has Not Yet Identified Suspect Or Motive

PBSO provided Boca Post with the following update:

“On 8/14/2022, at approximately 10:50 pm, Deputies responded to the area of 10100 block of Stonehenge Cir, in Unincorporated Boynton Beach in reference to a shooting.

Deputies located the victim in the parking lot area of the development. The victim sustained gunshot wound(s). Deputies rendered aid to the victim prior to being transported to Delray Medical Center where he was in stable condition. The victim advised that he was walking towards his vehicle, when unknown subjects shot him.

This case is open pending further investigation.”

BOYNTON BEACH, FL (Boca Post) — A large police and fire rescue response was seen late on Sunday night after a man was shot near the tennis courts in the ARIUM Boynton Beach Apartments.

Sources close to the shooting tell Boca Post that the 27-year-old man was shot 9 times by a small caliber handgun. The man was rushed to Delray Medical Center as a trauma alert patient shortly after 11 PM on Sunday evening.

Sources say the victim was found near the tennis courts with 9 gunshot wounds. First responders were seen applying a tourniquet to the victim’s leg.

The man’s condition is unknown at this time.
