BOYNTON BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — Two Delray Beach men were shot and killed Monday afternoon inside a Boynton Beach business, and the suspected shooter later died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound following a brief police pursuit, according to the Boynton Beach Police Department.

Police said officers were dispatched shortly before 4 p.m. on Monday, January 12, after communications received a report of a shooting at All-American Farms Inc., located at 2400 High Ridge Road, Suite 101, in Boynton Beach.

When officers arrived, they found 67-year-old Charles Geragi and 72-year-old Richard Geragi, both of Delray Beach, inside an office suffering from fatal gunshot wounds. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators quickly identified 39-year-old Nesar Dawla of West Palm Beach as the suspect. Officers established a perimeter around the area and began canvassing nearby neighborhoods with assistance from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office K-9 and Aviation units.

During the initial investigation, witnesses told police they saw Dawla run across the street from the business and flee in a white Cadillac SUV.

At approximately 4:40 p.m., police said a resident reported a suspicious vehicle near 524 Northwest 7th Court in Boynton Beach that matched the description of the SUV seen leaving the shooting scene. Officers located the vehicle and attempted a high-risk traffic stop.

According to police, the vehicle failed to stop and a brief pursuit followed. During the pursuit, officers observed Dawla shoot himself. The vehicle then crashed near 133 Leisureville Boulevard.

Boynton Beach Police SWAT officers breached the vehicle and found Dawla inside with a fatal self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said.

Detectives said the shooting stemmed from a prior financial dispute involving a fraud case investigated by Boynton Beach Police in January 2024. That investigation focused on Dawla’s brother, Sadman Dawla, who police said defrauded the victims of more than $5 million.

As a result of that earlier investigation, police said Sadman Dawla was charged with four felony counts of grand theft over $100,000 and was later found guilty on all charges. Investigators said it was alleged that Nesar Dawla was also involved in defrauding the company, but there was insufficient probable cause at the time to make an arrest.

Police said that on the day of the shooting, Charles Geragi had initiated a meeting with Nesar Dawla to discuss the possibility of returning funds to the victims related to the fraud case. During that meeting, investigators said Dawla pulled a firearm from his waistband and began shooting at both victims. Both men later died from their injuries.

Police said there are no outstanding suspects and no continuing threat to the public. The investigation remains active as detectives continue to document the case and notify next of kin.

Boynton Beach Police Major Case Detectives are asking anyone with information related to the incident to contact Detective Gleicher by email at [email protected] or by phone at 561-742-6163.
