Reported FIRST by Boca Post

BOYNTON BEACH, FL (Boca Post) — Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office tells Boca Post that Jennifer Fortin of Lake Worth has been killed in a deadly accident on Woolbright Road in Boynton Beach on Friday night.

According to investigators at the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, a 2017 Audi was heading westbound on Woolbright Rd approaching a curve in the roadway. The driver of the Audi drove off the road into a grass swale, causing the vehicle to start to rotate. While rotating counterclockwise, the Audi then struck a concrete pole on its front right side. After impact, the vehicle continued to skid and came to final rest just west of the pole, within the grass median.

The passenger, Jennifer Fortin, 29, was found still seatbelted in the passenger seat with critical injuries.

Sources close to the investigation tell Boca Post that Fortin was transported by ground as a priority 2 trauma alert to Delray Medical Center where she succumbed to her injuries hours later.
