Gary Santino Passed Away Days After Crash

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — 69-year-old Gary Santino died in the hospital several days after he was struck by a car while crossing Military Trail in Boynton Beach.

According to the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office, Santino was crossing the busy street outside of the crosswalk before he was hit by a vehicle on Monday, March 27th, 2023 at 4:43 PM. While Santino was crossing the street, a Toyota Tacoma, driven by a Boynton Beach woman, slammed into the 69-year-old, throwing him to the ground.

According to official records, Santino lived nearby at the Sea Meadow 55+ Mobile Home Community.

Santino was treated on scene and transported to the Delray Medical Center as a trauma alert; however, he died several days later.
