BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2025) — As Boca Raton celebrates a century of history, the city is preparing to honor those who’ve defended the nation with Red, White & Boca: A Veterans Day Celebration at Mizner Park Amphitheater.
The free community event takes place Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 4 to 8 p.m., welcoming veterans, families, and residents for an evening of remembrance, live music, and civic pride.
The celebration, part of Boca Raton’s centennial year, will include a stirring JROTC Presentation of Colors, performances by local and national acts, and remarks from city leaders and military veterans. Among those expected to speak are Mayor Scott Singer, Mark Sohaney, retired U.S. Navy and City Manager, and Madeline “Maddy” Mollach, U.S. Air Force veteran and Commander of American Legion Post 277.
The city, recognized as a Purple Heart City, takes pride in honoring service members who were wounded or killed in the line of duty — a distinction shared by only a select number of communities nationwide.
“This event really reflects who we are as a city — grateful, connected, and proud,” organizers said.

The Veterans Marketplace will give attendees the chance to meet local veteran-owned businesses, connect with service organizations, and learn about community resources. Applications for marketplace participation are currently open through the city.
