Dolores Bursky Of Boca Raton Dies From Her Injuries

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — An 80-year-old woman was struck by a Cadillac while crossing Military Trail near the entrance of the Polo Club community in Boca Raton where she lived.

Dolores Bursky, 80, was badly injured in the accident on Saturday, May 21st, 2022 when she was hit by a Cadillac driven by 39-year-old Lori Daniele from Boca Raton.

Dolores passed away 4 days after the accident.

Investigators from the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office say that Daniele had traveled northbound on Military Trail within the center lane. Dolores was walking westbound across Military Trail within the crosswalk.

During the crash, the right front of Daniele's Cadillac impacted the left side of Dolores. As the crash ensued, Dolores traveled over the hood area before exiting the vehicle and impacting onto the pavement where she came to rest. Daniele's was immediately stopped and Daniele exited to assist Dolores.

Dolores was transported to Delray Medical Center for treatment of her injuries where she passed away 4 days later.
