NEW DETAILS: Boynton Beach Police Arrest Boca Raton Man After Undercover Chat

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — A West Boca Raton man is facing multiple felony charges following an arrest in Boynton Beach, according to Palm Beach County jail and court records.

The defendant, David Scott Robertson, listed an address in The Oaks, a gated country club community in West Boca Raton near Clint Moore Road and Lyons Road, according to booking records.

Court records show the charges include traveling to meet a minor, solicitation of a minor, and unlawful use of a two-way communications device. All are felony offenses under Florida law.

As of publication, the criminal probable cause affidavit — the document that typically outlines the facts and circumstances leading to an arrest — has not yet been released. Court records indicate the affidavit is in the process of being reviewed and processed by the clerk’s office. Additional details are expected once that filing becomes publicly available.

Robertson appeared for first appearance proceedings on Jan. 25, 2026. The court docket reflects that a judge found probable cause for the charges at that hearing. Bond was set, and a no-contact order was filed as part of the case. The Office of the Public Defender was provisionally appointed.

The case is now moving through the standard felony court process. Upcoming docket entries include a return date and an initial case conference, where procedural and scheduling matters are typically addressed.

Boca Post also reviewed publicly available professional information identifying Robertson as a luxury real estate specialist associated with William Raveis Real Estate. That background information is not part of the criminal case and is included solely for identification purposes.

At this stage, the publicly available information is limited to booking data and docket entries. The release of the probable cause affidavit is expected to provide further clarity on the allegations and investigative steps connected to the arrest.

This story may be updated as additional court records become available.
