West Boca Man Arrested For Child P*Rn – Tommy Su

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — A 23-year-old Boca Raton man was arrested Wednesday morning by Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office for possession and distribution of child p*rn.

Tommy Su, 23, of SW 55th Ave, in the Sandalfoot Cove area of West Boca Raton, was arrested Wednesday morning on 6 counts of possession and 6 counts of distribution of child p*rn.

According to arrest records, Tommy Su lives on 55th Ave approximately half of a mile from Hammock Point Elementary School.

According to the arrest report, PBSO investigated Su as a result of a CyberTip received by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The CyberTip included information about at least 6 occurrences of obscene images being uploaded to Snapchat and Dropbox. A PBSO investigator, who is a member of the National Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (South Florida Chapter) was assigned the case and investigated the occurrences that allegedly happened in August of 2021.

During the interview that followed the investigation, Su admitted to transmitting at least 6 obscene images of children and animals. Due to the obscenity of the images, we will not describe them any further. Su also admitted to communicating with underage girls and sending them graphic images of himself. Digital Forensic Examiners found an additional 7 images on seized phones.

Su has had his first appearance where his bond was set at $120,000. The judge ordered that Su have no contact with anyone under 18 and no internet access.

Su is in PBSO custody and currently facing the following charges:

  • 6 counts of OBSCENE COMMUNICATION – IN STATE PERSON ELEC TRANS CHILD P*rn
  • 6 counts of OBSCENE MATERIAL-POSSESS – POSS CONTROL VIEW DEPICTION CHILD SEX CONDUCT
