Jeremy Dabney And Ricky Farrugia Arrested For Sex Trafficking, Prostitution

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — PBSO arrested two Sandalfoot area men for various crimes including kidnapping, human trafficking, and prostitution.

Jeremy Dabney and Ricky Farrugia of 10556 Sandalfoot Blvd in the Sandalfoot area of West Boca Raton, have been arrested by the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office.

According to arrest affidavits, the two men ran a “trap house” in the Sandalfoot area where they kept at least two women as prostitutes against their will. PBSO says that the house had an extensive call history of child abuse, domestic disturbances, fights, drug overdose investigations, drug arrests, warrant arrests, and code violations.

The women were sexually abused and forced to have sex with another man for money. One of the victims, who was interviewed by investigators while in protective custody at West Boca Medical Center, says she made approximately $700-$2,000 a day by having sex with 4-10 “Johns” a day.

The victim recalled going on a “date” where 6 or 7 men took turns having sex with her and ended up not paying her. The men sent her home in an Uber without payment and she was then punished for that. The victim, who was 7 weeks pregnant during this interview, says she thinks she got pregnant on that day.

While the victim was in the hospital, Dabney would threaten and harass her family members.

Dabney and Farrugia were booked into the Palm Beach County Jail Thursday morning and charged with:

  • 787.06(3) HUMAN TRAFFICKING
  • 796.05(1) DERIVING SUPPORT FROM PROCEEDS OF PROSTITUTION
