Boca Raton’S Gary Guglielmo Arrested After Violating Protection Order, Aggravated Stalking, Obstruction Of Justice

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — Gary Guglielmo of Boca Raton has been arrested on several felonies including aggravated stalking, according to jail records released to Boca Post by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Gary Guglielmo, 49, of the 800 block of NE 69th Street in East Boca Raton, has been arrested Thursday evening by the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office. Boca Post has been notified that the charges include aggravated stalking, violation of a protection order, and obstruction of justice.

Court records indicate that Guglielmo has been stalking his ex-fiance who filed for a restraining order in July. According to the report, when the two broke up, Guglielmo threw her belongings to her curb and urinated on them.

The ex-fiance says that Guglielmo has been following her home from work to various bars and restaurants. According to the protection order, Guglielmo continues to call and text her even though she blocked his numbers and asked him to stop.

The ex-fiance also says that Guglielmo has a lot of guns and told her he shot up a picture of her at the shooting range. Guglielmo reportedly attempted to bribe the husband of a friend of the ex-fiance for $20,000 in exchange for the dog of the ex-fiance.

According to the arrest affidavit submitted by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, Guglielmo was arrested after the ex-fiance reported that Guglielmo violated the protection order described above.

The violations as described by the Sheriff’s deputy:

The victim stated Guglielmo called her via telephone from a “no caller ID” approximately 20 times on 08/02/2022. The victim determined that Guglielmo was the caller because when she answered the phone she recognized Guglielmo’s voice. During the conversation, the victim said Guglielmo intimidated her by stating he would “bankrupt, ruin and humiliate her in court until she was left on one leg.” Guglielmo then told her in the same phone conversation he had “eyes on her everywhere and also offered to pay her to drop the case.”

Guglielmo then called the victim four times utilizing his known phone number. The victim then received several additional “no caller ID” phone calls immediately after. The victim was able to provide cell phone screenshots of missed calls with his phone number on her cellphone history. The victim stated she did not answer any of the phone calls from Guglielmo’s actual phone number. Guglielmo also sent in excess (9) text messages, (12) photos of them together, and a current photo of Guglielmo himself. Again, the victim did not reply to any of the messages. All attempted contact from Guglielmo occurred on August 2nd, 2022.

Boca Post has learned that since our exclusive reporting on his arrest, Morgan Stanley has terminated Gary Guglielmo’s employment. “Morgan Stanley promptly terminated his employment following a review of these serious allegations”, a Morgan Stanley spokesperson confirms.

Guglielmo was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail at 7:46 on Thursday evening. Guglielmo was released the following day on a $15,000 bond, according to court records. Guglielmo has pleaded not guilty to the following charges:

  • 741.31(4A) VIOLATION OF INJUNCTION
  • 784.048(3) AGGRAVATED STALKING
  • 914.22(1A) WITNESS TAMPERING
