BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — The City of Boca Raton is hosting the 48th annual Holiday Boat Parade on Saturday, December 17th, 2022. We have everything you need to know.

The parade will start at 6:30 PM near the Delray Beach line and travel south along the Intracoastal waterway where it will end at the Hillsboro bridge.

The Holiday Boat Parade will light up the Intracoastal waterway in and around Boca Raton on Saturday evening. A parade of boats decked out in holiday lights will compete for a $1,000 grand prize in 3 different categories, including Under 25′, 26′ to 34′, and over 34′. You can see the parade as it travels from C-15 Canal to the Hillsboro Boulevard bridge.

Where to view the Boca Raton holiday boat parade?

The city of Boca Raton has several options available to view the parade, including:

  • Red Reef Park (1400 N Ocean blvd)
  • Wildflower Park (551 E Palmetto Park Road)
  • Silver Palm Park (600 E Palmetto Park Road)

Seating will be available at Red Reef Park. It is recommended that you bring lawn chairs and/or a blanket for better seats closer to the water. A variety of food options will also be available at Red Reef park.

Parking is free but limited.

Motorists should be aware of the following bridge openings during the parade:

  • 6:50 PM: Spanish River
  • 7:20 PM: Palmetto Park
  • 7:30 PM: Camino Real
