BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — A charity car show and chili cookoff is set for Sunday, January 4, bringing classic cars, exotics, muscle cars and JDM builds to Boca Raton while raising support for Boca Helping Hands.

The Rotary Club of Boca Raton will host “Motors & Missions” from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Boca Helping Hands, 1500 NW 1st Court, Boca Raton, according to event materials. The public is invited and admission is free.

Organizers say the event will include live music, a chili cookoff and a 50/50 raffle. Attendees are also being asked to bring non-perishable food items to donate to Boca Helping Hands.

On the car side, organizers are welcoming a wide range of entries, from classics to newer performance builds. General car registration is listed at $40, with an early registration option of $30. A premium registration tier is also available for $75 and includes premium placement, with limited availability, according to the registration form.

Awards are planned for the top 25 cars. The event is scheduled rain or shine. Sponsorships are also available.

The event will honor Art Polacheck and will be held in memory of Spencer Siegel, according to the Rotary Club’s announcement.

For Boca Helping Hands, the fundraiser comes as the nonprofit points to continued demand for services across the region.

Boca Helping Hands, founded in 1998, says it now serves nearly 35,000 people each year. The nonprofit describes its work as extending beyond meals and pantry support, including weekend food support for students through its Backpacks Program at 15 local schools, as well as emergency assistance with rent, utilities and childcare.

Boca Helping Hands also cites a partnership with Genesis Community Health aimed at improving access to affordable healthcare. The organization says it provides job training, mentoring and life skills classes for people working to regain stability.

In 2024, Boca Helping Hands reported serving more than 64,000 hot meals and distributing more than 112,000 pantry bags across Palm Beach County.

The nonprofit is a partner agency of the Town of Palm Beach United Way, and it reports holding accreditation for Sound Nonprofit Management from Nonprofits First, a Platinum Seal of Transparency from Candid/GuideStar, and a Charity Navigator four-star rating for 17 consecutive years.
