BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — The City of Boca Raton is reminding the public to expect periodic lane closures on Spanish River Boulevard between N. Military Trail to Federal Highway due to road improvements.

Sections of Spanish River Boulevard scheduled to be closed:

  • Military Trail to Broken Sound Boulevard
  • El Rio Canal to Federal Highway

The city tells Boca Post that the rolling lane closures will being on July 25th, 2022, and will continue through August 12th, 2022. The hours of the work will be 8 AM to 5 PM for the duration of the project. Those dates are of course subject to change depending on the weather.

A contractor will be milling and resurfacing Spanish River Boulevard as well as adding pavement markers. The city says that once the hot asphalt is compacted and the road is opened, drivers will be able to safely drive on the new asphalt surface.
