Fau Student Arrested For Fake Id – Parris Taylor

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — A FAU student is in trouble with the law again after a Boca Raton Police Officer sees a fake ID in his wallet during a traffic stop.

Parris Taylor, 20, an FAU student who lives in Boca Raton, was arrested Thursday night after a Boca Raton Police Officer observed he had a fake ID in his possession.

It all started at about 8:40 PM near the 3200 block of Federal Highway, the report reads. A BRPD officer pulled over a grey Porsche for having “extremely dark window tints”.

When the officer asked Taylor, the sole occupant, and driver, for his license and registration, the officer observed a second ID in Taylor’s wallet. Like many college kids, Taylor had a fake ID.

The officer ran the California license, which had Taylor’s image, but it came back to another individual. Taylor admitted to the officer that he purchased the ID online. Taylor was arrested and charged with “POSSESS FORGED – DRIVERS LICENSE OR ID CARD”.

Taylor was transported to the PBSO jail where he is still being held.

This isn’t the first time Taylor has had negative encounters with law enforcement since he moved to Boca Raton to attend FAU. In April of 2021, he was arrested and charged with domestic battery after a confrontation he had with an ex-girlfriend at the time. That charge has since been dropped, according to court records.
