BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — Deputies responded to a a shooting call in Boca Chase where they found a man suffering from a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head. The man was later pronounced deceased a Delray Medical Center from the apparent suicide.

Boca Post received word from authorities that the man was pronounced deceased at Delray Medical Center after what they confirm was a suicide.

At approximately 2:20PM, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue and PBSO responded to a shooting call at a residence located at 18268 181st Cir S, Boca Raton, FL 33498. PBSO deputies found the male victim in the backyard and secured the scene for PBCFR to respond.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue transported the man as a priority 1 trauma alert to Delray Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased.

This is the 2nd shooting Boca Post is reporting about in the west Boca Raton area in the last 12 hours as there was a Shooting at Oconnor’s Pub last night.
