BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2025) — A serious traffic crash closed eastbound lanes of Glades Road between St. Andrews Boulevard and Butts Road Thursday morning. Westbound traffic remained open as emergency crews worked the scene for more than an hour.

According to sources close to the incident, at least two men were injured, 1critically, after their vehicle was T-boned in a crash. Crews reported a prolonged extrication before paramedics declared the patient a trauma alert. He was rushed to Delray Medical Center, Palm Beach County’s Level 1 trauma facility.

The other driver appeared to be in better condition but was also transported to Delray Medical Center for evaluation.

Boca Raton Fire Rescue and Boca Raton Police closed off the eastbound stretch of Glades Road to manage patient care and the crash investigation. The road remained blocked while investigators documented the scene and tow crews cleared the vehicles.

Drivers heading east on Glades were diverted through St. Andrews Boulevard and nearby side streets. Motorists reported long backups stretching toward the Town Center area.
