BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — Palm Beach County’s high school graduation rate increased again in 2025, with local campuses in and around Boca Raton posting some of the county’s highest completion numbers, according to new data the School District of Palm Beach County said was released by the Florida Department of Education.
The district reported an overall graduation rate of 93.5% for 2025, a jump from 92.1% the year before. That overall figure includes District-operated and charter schools, the district said. The district also reported that the graduation rate for District-operated schools increased from 95.9% to 96.7%.
In its announcement dated January 22, 2026, the district said Palm Beach County’s graduation rate is the second highest among Florida’s largest seven school districts and exceeds what it described as the state’s historic-high average. The district said its overall graduation rate of 93.5% was 1.3 percentage points higher than the state average.
Superintendent Mike Burke tied the results to long-term academic focus and readiness goals.
“Maintaining high graduation rates requires a relentless focus on academic excellence and a commitment to preparing every student to be college and workforce ready,” Burke said. “This success affirms our status as an ‘A’ rated, Academically High-Performing School District and is driven by the collective effort of ‘Team Palm Beach’ and the support of our community. Congratulations to our graduates and their families!”
For Boca Raton and West Boca families, the school-by-school numbers show several campuses near home operating at the top end of the county’s list. The district reported West Boca Raton Community High at 99.7%, Olympic Heights Community High at 99.8%, and Spanish River Community High at 99.2%. Boca Raton Community High was listed at 96.8%.
Those figures placed West Boca, Olympic Heights and Spanish River among a group of 10 high schools the district said earned graduation rates of 99% or higher. The district listed the following schools in that category: Alexander W. Dreyfoos (100%), Dr. Joaquín García (99.4%), Glades Central (99.5%), Olympic Heights (99.8%), Pahokee (99.0%), Spanish River (99.2%), Suncoast (100%), Village Academy (100%), Wellington (99.9%), and West Boca Raton (99.7%).
Beyond the highest-performing group, the district said all District-operated high schools in Palm Beach County earned a graduation rate above 92%. The district also said graduation rates increased for each subgroup compared to five years ago, without providing subgroup breakdowns in the announcement.
A broader look across the county shows many schools in the mid-to-high 90s, including Atlantic Community High (97.3%), Forest Hill Community High (97.4%), Jupiter Community High (98.0%), Park Vista Community High (98.3%), Seminole Ridge Community High (97.6%), and William T. Dwyer High (97.7%), according to the district’s list. The district also listed several schools at 100%, including Palm Beach Virtual, Royal Palm School, and Village Academy Center.
