Boca Bicyclist Hit And Killed On Spanish River Boulevard

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — A bicyclist was killed after being hit by a dodge ram truck on Spanish River Boulevard.

Boca Police Department has reported that a bicyclist was hit and killed while riding westbound on Spanish River Boulevard. The victim was hit from behind and suffered a head trauma. The victim died at the scene.

Boca PD is calling this an open homicide investigation. We will follow this case close and update you here as we confirm the details

Boca Police Department has released the following statement:

Boca Raton Police are investigating fatal accident along Spanish River Boulevard
Boca Raton, FL - On Friday, February 11, 2022, just before 12:30 p.m., the Boca Raton Police
responded to an accident involving a vehicle and a bicyclist along the 500 block of NW Spanish
River Boulevard.
A 2013 Dodge Ram was traveling westbound on Spanish River Boulevard when it struck a bicyclist
who was also traveling westbound. The bicyclist sustained head trauma and was pronounced
deceased on scene.
