BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — A Boca Raton man has been arrested and charged with child neglect (unattended child in a motor vehicle in excess of 15 minutes), according to jail records released to Boca Post by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

A Boca Raton man has been arrested by the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office. Boca Post has been notified that the charge filed is child neglect (unattended child in a motor vehicle in excess of 15 minutes).

The man was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail at 8 PM on Thursday evening and released early this morning without bond.

According to the arrest affidavit submitted by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, on March 22nd, 2022, the man allegedly took his daughters to Blaze Pizza in West Boca Raton after an appointment.

The report says that the man brought one of the girls in and left one in her car seat while he consumed at least two beers inside of the restaurant while waiting for a pizza. The report says he was drinking beers in the bathroom.

The mother says that she attempted to call PBSO’s non-emergency number but no one answered the phone. A DCF interview was conducted on 3/23/22 and a warrant was filed for the man’s arrest on 8/24/22.
