Woman Shot At After Chasing Man Who Stole Her Necklace, Suspect Arrested – Eric P Williams

On September 20th, 2023, detectives from the BSO robbery unit received a tip from Crime Stoppers that identified Eric P. Williams as the suspect involved in a robbery shooting. Two days later, in collaboration with the BSO V.I.P.E.R. (Violence Intervention Proactive Enforcement Response detectives, the investigators made contact with Williams and took him into custody for narcotics charges. While he was detained, Williams confessed to being involved in the incident that took place in July. He was subsequently transported to BSO Main Jail.

In addition to facing two narcotics charges, Williams is now confronted with charges associated with the armed robbery shooting incident.

LAUDERDALE LAKES, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — A woman was shot at after following a man who stole her necklace in Lauderdale Lakes.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Lauderdale Lakes on Sunday, July 2nd, 2023.

According to detectives, a woman was robbed at gunpoint while pumping gas at the RaceTrac located at 4697 N. State Road 7 in Lauderdale Lakes. The woman says that the man in the video approached her, pulled a gun, and demanded she empty her pockets. He then ripped an expensive necklace from her neck.

The suspect quickly fled the scene with the woman following him in her vehicle. The suspect is then seen getting out of his vehicle and shooting at the victim several times.

The suspect completely missed the victim and her vehicle.
