BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — Boca Raton High School is the latest in a recent rash of unfounded reports of school shootings and/or suspicious armed individuals on campuses across south Florida.
As Boca Post reported this week, several south Florida schools have had false reports made about a shooter or suspicious person on campus, forcing immediate lockdowns and action by law enforcement.
Boca Raton Police Department responded to Boca Raton High School just after 10:00 AM in response to reports of an armed subject on campus. Boca Raton Police quickly followed up on social media:
UPDATE: As of 10:23 am, Boca Raton High School has been cleared. Nothing suspicious was located.

UPDATE: @BocaPolice officers continue to check the school. At this time, there is no evidence of a shooting or an armed subject on the campus. We received one call in reference to this suspicious incident.
