Boca Woman Arrested After Slamming Door On Husband’S Fingers – Isabel Guevara

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — A Boca Raton woman has been arrested two times in three days, according to jail records released to Boca Post by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Isabel Guevara, 35, who lives in the Royal Colonial Apartments on E Camino Real and Spanish River Road, has been arrested several times this week by the Boca Raton Police Department.

The first arrest occurred when Boca Police responded to Guevara’s apartment in reference to a domestic disturbance at about 5 PM on Tuesday, May 10th, 2022. According to an arrest affidavit submitted by the Boca Raton Police Department, officers met with Isabel’s husband, Daniel Guevara, 32, who said that the two got into an argument about money.

During the argument, Isabel went to leave with their child and when Daniel tried to stop her, she slammed the door on his fingers. Police say Daniel had obvious injuries to his index finger. Isabel was arrested for a domestic battery charge that evening. Isabel was released from the Palm Beach County Jail the following day at approximately 6:00 PM.

Court records indicate that there was a no-contact order filed against Isabel to keep her from communicating with Daniel. Apparently, that order was violated less than two days after being established.

Two days later, on 5/13/22, Boca Raton Police arrested Isabel again. Boca Post learned from the Court that Isabel has been charged with violating a domestic violence injunction.

Isabel was accused of violating the domestic violence injunction after she texted and called her husband several times after being released from jail. She texted asking for a ride home from jail and he told her to take an Uber to Apopka, Florida. Isabel sent over 20 messages to Daniel. At some point, Daniel allowed Isabel to speak with their daughter via Facetime. Daniel reported the violations to Police who arrested Isabel for violating a domestic violence injunction.

Isabel was released from the PBSO jail Saturday evening after posting a $20,000 bond.

According to court records, Guevara’s parents were present in court with her on Saturday morning. Guevara hired Douglas Rudman of The Rudman Law Group was also present during her first appearance on Saturday morning.
