FLORIDA (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — A Florida Missing Child Alert has been issued for a 16-year-old boy reported missing from Homestead, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
FDLE identified the missing teen as Rashaud Dixon. He is described as a Black male with black hair and brown eyes. FDLE listed his height as 5 feet 10 inches and his weight as 120 pounds.
The last known area for Dixon was Homestead in Dade County, FDLE said.
The alert is part of the state’s system for circulating information quickly when a child is reported missing. For South Florida residents, that means the information may be shared widely across the region as law enforcement looks for leads and tries to locate the teen.
Authority for the case sits with the Homestead Police Department, which is the contact agency listed on the FDLE alert.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Homestead Police Department at 305-247-1535 or call 911.
