BSO said a missing 20-year-old woman was found deceased in Plantation over the weekend; the death investigation is being handled by the Plantation Police Department.

BROWARD COUNTY, FL — A missing persons case that drew a BSO alert late last week has ended with a death investigation now in the hands of Plantation Police.

Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit said a missing 20-year-old woman, Anjali Gosine, was found deceased in Plantation over the weekend.

BSO had issued a missing persons alert for Gosine on Friday, March 27. The alert followed her last known sighting around 12:20 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, near a Broward College building at 3400 S.W. 35th Street in Davie.

BSO did not release additional details about the circumstances of her death in its update.

For information regarding the death investigation, BSO directed the public to contact the Plantation Police Department.
