25-9-16 Date: Sept.19, 2025 ​ Do you have unwanted or expired medication(s) that you need to dispose of? Documents that require shredding? If so, come join us at the Broward Sheriff’s Office Operation Medicine Cabinet and Shred-A-Thon event in Dania Beach this Saturday, Sept. 20. BSO is hosting this free event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bass Pro Shops, located at 200 Gulf Stream Way. Participants who turn in prescription medications will receive a $5 gift card while supplies last. Needles and sharp objects will not be accepted at this event. Officials will also be collecting documents for shredding. A maximum of two boxes per vehicle is permitted. Each box can be no larger than 16 inches long, 12 inches wide, and 12 inches high.
