On May 14th of 2025 ( day of May in this year) detectives from Broward Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit have shared that there has been an increase in the cash reward for solving a distressingly cruel case involving the killing of 30 Egyptian Geese.
Now offering up to a sum of 8000 dollars as a reward, for any information leading to an arrest.
The heartbreaking incident of animal cruelty took place around 7h45 in the evening on December 28th near Southwest Street and Southwest 120th Avenue in Cooper City. As per a bystanders account the animals were hit by a vehicle resembling the one shown in the image above and occupied by approximately four to five young individuals. Investigators mentioned that the brutal incident occurred in the area near the lake easement between Flaming Gardens West neighborhood and Countryside Shops Plaza, in Cooper City. The vehicle was spotted heading towards Flaming Townhomes subdivision before disappearing from sight. Through their investigative efforts detectives managed to find video footage of the individuals involved in the incident. We can see people driving around the neighborhood in their car in the area.
