As Boca Raton and surrounding areas go into Tropical Storm Watch in preparation for Potential Tropical Cyclone One, another storm is forming in the Atlantic that experts want to keep an eye on.
According to the National Weather Service, all of South Florida is under a flood warning from midnight tonight until Sunday morning.
The City of Boca Raton has told Boca Post that Boca Raton’s Battle Of The Bands has been postponed due to the rain bands expected from tropical storm weather we are expecting.
Boca Post has been told by the National Hurricane Center that “Disturbance 1” now has an 80% chance of cyclone formation, meaning, it could develop into a tropical storm or even a hurricane.
With the likelihood of the remnants of Hurricane Agatha developing into Hurricane Alex all but gone, experts expect the storm to become a real rainmaker this weekend as another disturbance has been identified in the Atlantic.
