Deputies say a man was illegally crossing the street when he was struck and killed by a vehicle in Greenacres on Friday evening.

Palm Beach Sheriff's Office tells Boca Post that violent crime detectives are on the scene near the 500 block of Fleming Ave in Greenacres following a double homicide leaving one adult and one juvenile male dead early this morning.

A suspect stole $800 worth of tools from Ace Hardware on Forest Hill Boulevard and then hit the manager with his vehicle when fleeing the scene.
