Deadly Crash Overnight In Oakland Park Leaves 1 Man Dead

OAKLAND PARK, FL (Boca Post) — One man is dead after a deadly crash on Oakland Park Boulevard that occurred at approximately 3:45 AM this morning.

From Broward Sheriff’s Office:

Shortly after 3:46 a.m., Broward County Regional Communications received a call reporting a crash near the 200 block of East Oakland Park Boulevard in Oakland Park. Broward Sheriff’s Office district deputies and Oakland Park Fire Rescue responded to the scene. The preliminary investigation revealed three vehicles collided. One of the cars struck a pole. The adult male driving that vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene. No other injuries were reported.

BSO Traffic Homicide detectives were notified and are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident.

The westbound lane is closed along Oakland Park Boulevard with only one lane open for eastbound traffic. Motorists are asked to seek alternate routes until further notice.
