Timothy Hayden Passed Away

LAKE WORTH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — 79-year-old Timothy Hayden of Lake Worth passed away after a violent crash in unincorporated Lake Worth on Thursday evening.

According to the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office, Jessica Vaeth, 39, of Lake Worth, was traveling westbound on Hypoluxo Road, in the westbound inside lane. At the same time, 79-year-old Timothy Hayden had been traveling southbound on Windpoint Way, attempting to turn left onto eastbound Hypoluxo Road when the two collided.

During the crash, the front of Vaeth’s Mazda CX-5 violently impacted the driver’s side of Hayden’s Nissan Rogue. After the collision, Vaeth’s car rotated counterclockwise and came to rest facing southeast, west of the intersection in the westbound inside lane. Hayden’s car rotated counterclockwise, struck the median, and overturned onto its passenger side. Hayden’s car came to rest facing northeast, upright in the eastbound lanes of Hypoluxo Road.

Vaeth was transported to Bethesda West Medical Center for injuries sustained during the collision. Hayden was transported to Delray Medical Center where he later died due to the injuries sustained during the crash.
