UPDATEPBSO detectives have arrested Michael Harris, Jr., for 2nd Degree Murder with a Firearm.

Harris Jr was arrested and booked into the PBC Jail.

LAKE PARK, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — PBSO homicide detectives investigate the shooting death of a man in Lake Park on Wednesday evening.

According to the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a shooting in the area of 1200 Northlake Boulevard in Lake Park at 7:17 PM on Wednesday, May 17th, 2023.

A spokesperson for PBSO tells us that deputies found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. The man was transported to a local hospital where he later died.

While no suspect is in custody, PBSO is calling this an active investigation.

PBSO continues to urge anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS.
