15-Year-Old Shot, Killed In Belle Glade

BELLE GLADE, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) —A 15-year-old boy is dead and two others injured after a late night shooting in Belle Glade.

The shooting happened just after 10 PM near the 1000 block of SW Ave I in Belle Glade.

PBSO deputies swiftly responded to a “shotspotter” call, a gunshot detection system alert, near the 1000 block of SW Ave I in Belle Glade. Upon their arrival, they found three young males aged 15, 15 and 16 with gunshot wounds. All three individuals were promptly taken to a nearby hospital for necessary medical care. Unfortunately, one of the fifteen year old boys succumbed to his injuries shortly after reaching the hospital.

To delve deeper into the incident, detectives from the Violent Crimes Division and Gang Unit were called to the scene. As of now, neither any suspects nor a motive has been identified or established.
