Davie, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — All I-595 Eastbound lanes are closed near Davie Road as FHP is investigating a fatal accident that involved a passenger van and a tractor trailer.

The accident involved what appears to be a carnival ride being pulled by a tractor as well as a large passenger van. FHP has confirmed at least one person is dead as as result of the accident this morning.

Avoid the area as traffic is expected to back up with an active detour to SR-84.
