Coconut Creek Woman Dies In Deerfield Beach Crash

Eva Florian, 86, Passed Away

DEERFIELD BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2024) —Investigators from the Broward Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit are looking into a tragic incident where an 86 year old woman lost her life in a solo car accident in Deerfield Beach.

The unfortunate event took place at approximately 4;30 p.m. On Wednesday, April 24, near the 3700 block of West Hillsboro Boulevard. Initial findings suggest that Eva Florian, the driver, was maneuvering through a parking lot when she unexpectedly veered off course and collided with a support post of a concrete structure.

Upon receiving the distress call, BSO deputies and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue swiftly arrived at the scene. Emergency medical personnel rushed the elderly woman to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention.

Tragically, it was later confirmed by detectives from BSO’s Traffic Homicide Unit on May 12 that Eva Florian succumbed to her injuries sustained in the crash.

The inquiry remains ongoing as authorities work diligently to uncover more details surrounding this heartbreaking incident.
