Turnpike Re-Opens After Overnight Crash Kills 2 Near Atlantic Avenue
2 Dead In Rollover Accident On Turnpike Near Atlantic Avenue. All Turnpike Lanes And On-Ramps Have Re-Opened.
UPDATE: Northbound lanes have re-opened. All lanes of travel have been re-opened. All on-ramps have re-opened.
FHP tells Boca Post that the head-on collision was caused by a 25-year-old driver driving southbound in the northbound lane. A 43-year-old man who was driving northbound crashed into the vehicle driving the wrong way and was ejected from his vehicle. Both drivers were killed instantly.

BOCA RATON, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — A early morning accident was reported on the turnpike near Atlantic Avenue which caused the death of two people.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue responded to the early morning crash at around 2 AM this Friday morning. Responding fire rescue personnel found 2 deceased people at the crash scene. Sources tell us one of the people was ejected and the other was entrapped in their vehicle.
A third vehicle was reported to be involved without any injuries.
There was a Semi truck near the scene; however, it is reported that the truck was not involved.
Traffic has been problematic all morning as the Glades road on-ramp has been closed since 2:30 AM.
