Alexander Diaz Passed Away

WEST PALM BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — 18-year-old Alexander Diaz was killed in a deadly West Palm Beach crash Monday afternoon.

Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office tells Boca Post that the 18-year-old was killed in a crash that occurred near the 4200 block of Community Drive in suburban West Palm Beach just after 4 PM on Monday, August 28th, 2023.

According to traffic homicide investigators, Diaz was driving a motorcycle westbound on Community Drive, in the westbound inside lane approaching the intersection of 12th Street. At the same time, Victoria Rudd was driving a Jeep southbound on 12th Street and was turning eastbound on Community Drive.

As Rudd entered the intersection, Diaz applied the brakes but slid into the center median. As Diaz’s motorcycle slid southwest into the median the front of it struck the driver side of Rudd’s Jeep. As a result of the collision, Diaz was ejected from his motorcycle.

To spite wearing a helmet, Diaz was pronounced dead on scene due to the injuries sustained during the collision. Rudd did not receive personal injury.
