Pedro Juan Bolano Killed In Deadly Lake Worth Construction Site
LAKE WORTH, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — A construction worker was killed on Tuesday afternoon while crews were paving a private driveway near 3510 Melaleuca Lane in Lake Worth.
The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office tells Boca Post that a dump truck driven by Adolfo Mazpule, 56, was being guided by a co-worker that was visible to him in the passenger side mirror.
The coworker guided the driver as the truck was backing south on an unpaved private roadway that led to a parking area for a multi-family residential area.
The underlayment could not withstand the weight of the truck and it became stuck in the underlayment. Mazpule attempted to dump a portion of its load in order to lighten the weight.
Unfortunately, Mazpule was unaware that Pedro Bolano was on the driver’s side of the truck. The truck then became unstable and began to shift towards the driver’s side. The truck rolled onto its side, trapping Bolano.
Bolano was pronounced deceased at the scene by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
