Grant Granger Passed Away

BOYNTON BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — 64-year-old Grant Granger of Boynton Beach was struck by a car and killed while riding a bicycle in Boynton Beach.

According to the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office, at about 8 PM on Thursday, June 8th, 2023, Flor Hernandez, 70, of Boynton Beach, was driving north on S. Military Trail near Beechwood Road in unincorporated Boynton Beach. At the same time, Grant Granger was riding a bicycle southbound on Military, on the northbound lane.

Deputies say that Granger turned abruptly in front of Hernandez’ Chevy Cruze. Hernandez swerved to the left in an effort to avoid hitting Granger; however, the vehicle collided with the bicyclist.

Granger was transported to Delray Medical Center where he was later declared deceased.
