The city announced that the Palmetto Park Road track crossing at Dixie Highway has re-opened.

The city added that the NW 2nd Street track crossing remains closed until further notice, due to unforeseen repairs.

BOCA RATON, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — The City of Boca Raton tells Boca Post that all eastbound traffic on Palmetto Park Road between 2nd Ave and Dixie is being detoured due to a water main break in the area.

The city tells us that all eastbound lanes of Palmetto Park Road are closed from NW 2nd Ave to Dixie Highway until further notice. This is so crews can work on a water main break in the area. NW 2nd Street is currently closed as part of the Brightline train station project.

All eastbound traffic should detour via Glades road or Camino Real.

The city adds that water quality and service are not anticipated to be impacted at this time.
