All you have to do is drop your ‘naked’ tree off at Countess de Hournle Park which is located at 1000 Spanish River BLVD. Proceed to the south end of the parking lot next to the maintenance area.

The drop off hours are:

  • Monday – Saturday
    • 8am – 8pm
  • Sunday
    • 8am – 5pm

*Park closes 6pm on New Years holidays (New Years Eve, New Years Day)

For more information about this program, please call the city at 561-393-7810.

The Solid Waste Authority is telling people that they will pick up that old tree but there is a catch. Don’t lug your 12 foot trees out with the trash just yet. The SWA has said that normal collection crews will only take trees 8 feet tall or shorter weighing less than 50 pounds.

If you have a bigger tree, you must cut it in half for garbage collectors to pick it up for you. Don’t forget to take off the ornaments first!
