On May 8th in 2025 detectives from Broward Sheriffs Office Violent Crimes Unit have shared cellphone video footage of a road rage altercation that took place close to Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport week. They are requesting assistance from the public to recognize and find the driver implicated in this incident. 7 P.m. Tuesday April 29th Broward County Regional Communications was alerted to a road rage occurrence close, to Terminal Drive’ s 300 block. Investigators reported that the victim was trying to leave the airport after picking up her daughter when the incident happened. The victim explained that as she was leaving the airport and signaled to change lanes with her blinker on an unidentified individual in a black Dodge Durango accelerated next, to her and prevented her from changing lanes. Authorities mentioned that the victim slowed down and eventually switched lanes to end up directly behind the Durango. Once the car in front slowed down abruptly near them. The driver of the Durango hit the brakes hard too causing the victim to shift lanes quickly once more to avoid a collision or getting too close to their vehicle per se. With distance between them and the Durango now visible in their rearview mirror after changing lanes again without incident this time around; they decided to overtake the vehicle altogether amid her daughter capturing the whole incident with her phones camera. In footage from her daughters cellphone that captured it all; there was a moment when things escalated quickly as the driver of the car pointed what seemed like a black gun at both of them before promptly hiding it away upon noticing they were being recorded. After realizing they were being filmed by someone inside the victims vehicle; the individual behind the wheel swiftly concealed their weapon. Hurriedly made an escape in a rush toward South Federal Highway without looking back. Investigators are urging anyone who might have details, about this driver or their current location to come forward and reach out to Detective [Name].For assistance or tips regarding the mentioned individual Lisa Almanza Londono without revealing your identity you can contact Broward Crime Stoppers anonymously either by phone (954) 493 TIPS (8477) through their website browardcrimestoppers.org or by dialling **TIPS (8477) from any phone, within the United States.
