Chad Muto Passes Away After Deadly Motorcycle Crash

TAMARAC, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — The Broward Sheriff’s Office tells Boca Post that they are investigating an accident involving a fatality after a motorcyclist crashed for unknown reasons.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office tells Boca Post that at approximately 11:29 AM on Thursday, October 6th, 2022, deputies responded to the 8000 block of University Drive in Tamarac in reference to a single-vehicle crash.

Responding BSO district deputies and Tamarac fire rescue located 32-year-old Chad Muto of Coral Springs who they declared deceased at the scene.

BSO Traffic Homicide Unit detectives were notified and began an investigation into the incident. Detectives tell us that Muto was riding a 2020 Yongfu YN150 motorcycle near the 8300 block of North University Drive traveling northbound in the right-thru lane. According to a witness, the motorcyclist lost control, departed the lane, and struck the right curb. The motorcyclist was ejected. The motorcycle continued northbound until it came to a final rest on its side.

According to investigators, physical evidence indicates there were no other vehicles involved, and excessive speed is not considered a contributing factor in the crash.
