Woman Killed By Hit-And-Run Driver In Pompano Beach
POMPANO BEACH, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — Broward Sheriff’s Office tells Boca Post that a woman was left for dead after being struck by a hit and run driver on Powerline Road in Pompano Beach early on Sunday morning.

Broward Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating a hit-and-run crash that left a woman dead in Pompano Beach.
Shortly after 2 a.m., Sunday, July 3, BSO deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue responded to a hit-and-run crash near the intersection of Northwest 22nd Street and North Powerline Road in Pompano Beach. According to detectives, the victim was located unresponsive, lying in the northbound lanes of North Powerline Road. Preliminary investigation revealed the victim was struck in the northbound lanes of North Powerline Road and projected northbound to her final resting location.
Paramedics transported the victim to Broward Health North, where she was pronounced deceased.
