DEADLY SHOOTING: 1 Shot, Killed In Pompano Beach

POMPANO BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2024) — BSO detectives are investigating a shooting in Pompano Beach that left a man dead.

Sunday evening saw a tragic shooting incident that resulted in the untimely death of a man under investigation, by the Homicide and Crime Scene units of the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

Late in the evening on Sunday the 1st of December in Broward County Regional Communications received a notification about an incident occurring around 400 Southwest Second Street in Pompano Beach area.

Deputies, from Broward Sheriff’s Offices Pompano Beach District swiftly arrived at the scene and found an adult man named Roderick Henry who had been shot near the 300 block of Avondale Drive; sadly he was pronounced deceased by Pompano Beach Fire Rescue team that also arrived at the location. The perpetrator(s) fled from the site afterwards. Police officers, from the Broward Sheriffs Offices Homicide and Crime Scene divisions arrived to look into the incident of the shooting. Are currently conducting an ongoing investigation to determine the details surrounding it.
