BROWARD COUNTY, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — Broward Sheriff’s Office tells Boca Post that a 24-year-old man has been killed after crashing a motorcycle into a box truck on Monday morning.

Broward Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide detectives are investigating a fatal box truck versus motorcycle crash that occurred on Monday in unincorporated Broward County near Fort Lauderdale. 
According to detectives, at approximately 9:08 a.m. on Monday, June 6, the motorcyclist, Bradford Schilling, who was riding a 2001 Suzuki SV650, was traveling northbound in the center lane of Northwest 31st Avenue approaching Northwest 11th Street. At the same time, Raymond Thompson was traveling southbound on Northwest 31st Avenue in a 2017 Hino 258 box truck and made a left turn onto Northwest 11th Street pulling into the path of the motorcycle.
Preliminary investigation reveals that Schilling attempted to brake and avoid striking the box truck. Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue transported Schilling to Broward Health Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.
The investigation is pending.
