LAUDERDALE LAKES, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — Quenia Alliance, 51, of Margate, has passed away in a deadly Lauderdale Lakes accident where she was hit by a car after she got off of a bus.
A pedestrian was struck and killed in Lauderdale Lakes on Wednesday, Oct. 26, and detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The fatal crash occurred at approximately 7:27 a.m. near the 3000 block of North State Road 7 in Lauderdale Lakes. The preliminary on-scene investigation revealed Deline Seraphin was traveling southbound in a 2015 Nissan Altima on North State Road 7 in the middle lane. At the same time, the victim, Quenia Alliance, exited a Broward County Transit bus stopped in the far-right bus lane. According to detectives, the victim ran across the roadway after exiting the bus and was struck by the Nissan.
BSO deputies and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue responded, and Alliance was pronounced deceased on the scene.
The investigation continues.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office tells Boca Post that they are investigating a fatal accident involving the death of a pedestrian that occurred near Oakland Park Boulevard and North SR-7 in Lauderdale Lakes.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office tells Boca Post that at approximately 7:27 a.m., Broward County Regional Communications received a call reporting a vehicle versus pedestrian crash near West Oakland Park Boulevard and North State Road 7 in Lauderdale Lakes

Responding BSO district deputies and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue located an adult female lying in the roadway suffering from injuries consistent with a traffic crash. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased on the scene. The driver of the vehicle stayed on the scene and collaborated with investigators. BSO Traffic Homicide Unit detectives are currently investigating this incident.
