Two Shot In Lauderdale Lakes Armed Robbery
LAUDERDALE LAKES, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — Broward Sheriff’s Office confirms there was a shooting near the RaceTrac on Oakland Park Boulevard on Tuesday morning leaving two with gunshot wounds.
Broward Sheriff’s Office released the following alert this morning:
Shortly after 9 a.m., Broward Regional Communications received a shooting call near the intersection of Northwest 33rd Avenue and West Oakland Park Boulevard in Lauderdale Lakes. Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue responded. On scene, emergency crews made contact with two injured victims. Paramedics transported the victims to an area hospital for treatment. Their injuries are listed as not life-threatening at this time. Detectives with BSO’s Robbery Unit were notified and are investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident. The investigation continues.
